Description: This program is designed to help students who do not have a high school diploma to take and pass the NYS High School Equivalency (HSE) exam: GED (General Equivalency Diploma). Students are assessed for placement at intake and are enrolled in the appropriate level courses across the following subject areas: Reading/Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Students are also given test preparation and academic support to improve their study and test-taking skills. The HSE Program is self-paced and allows students to progress at their own rate in preparation for the state examination.

Class Time/Duration: 15 weeks / 12 hours per week / day and evening classes
