Directions to SUNY Westchester EOC

We are easily accessible from anywhere in Westchester County on WCDOT Bee-Line buses. Take any Bee-Line bus to the Getty Square stop in Yonkers, located at South Broadway and Main Street. 

The WEOC entrance is just one block north of this intersection. 

Bee-Line schedules and maps are available on the Bee-Line website. All buses are wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps.

Take the Metro-North Hudson Line to Yonkers Station (5 Buena Vista Avenue, just north of Main Street). From the station, walk west on Main Street for two blocks, heading uphill to Getty Square. 

At the intersection with South Broadway, turn right. The WEOC entrance is one block up on the right.

From Upstate and Points North

• Take I-87 South (New York State Thruway) over the Mario Cuomo Bridge. 
• Continue on I-87 South and take Exit 7A for Saw Mill River Parkway South.
• Exit at 5 (Yonkers Avenue West) and turn right onto Yonkers Avenue.
• Follow Yonkers Avenue (it becomes Nepperhan Avenue). 
• After the 6th traffic light (New Main Street), make a quick right into the Municipal Parking Lot/Government Center Garage.

Parking & Entrance

• You will enter the garage on Level 3. Drive straight to the end. You’ll see the outdoor lot on Level 4 to your left, but continue right and park where available (you may need to go down to lower levels). 
• Walk to the outdoor parking area on Level 4 and through the lot to the rear entrance of 20 South Broadway (entrance on the right). 
• Ring the buzzer to be let in. You’ll enter on the 3rd floor—walk down the hall to the elevator, then take it down to the 1st floor.
• Exit to the street and turn left. The entrance to 26 South Broadway (SUNY Westchester EOC) is just ahead.
   

From Points South (New York City)
Option 1:

• Take the West Side Highway to Henry Hudson Parkway North (becomes Saw Mill River Parkway North).
• Exit at 5 (Yonkers Avenue West) and follow the directions above. 

Option 2:

• Take the RFK Bridge to I-87/Major Deegan Expressway North.
• Exit 12 for Saw Mill River Parkway North, merge onto Mosholu Parkway North (which becomes NY-9A North/Saw Mill River Parkway).
• Exit at 5 (Yonkers Avenue West) and follow the directions above.
   

From Long Island and Queens
Option 1:

• Take the Throgs Neck Bridge. Stay right onto I-695 North (Throgs Neck Expressway).
• Continue onto I-95 North (Bruckner Expressway).
• Exit 9 for Hutchinson River Parkway North.
• Take Exit 13 for Cross County Parkway West, then follow the directions below. 

Option 2:

• Take the Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Parkway North.
• Exit 13 for Cross County Parkway West, then follow the directions below.
   

Final Approach

• Take Cross County Parkway West to Exit 2 (Saw Mill River Parkway North/Albany). Stay in the right lane.
• About 50 feet ahead, take Exit 5 (Yonkers Avenue West) and follow the directions above.
